The Team Behind the Rescue

The Markham Fire Auto-Extrication Team is a non-profit, self-funded unit comprised of dedicated firefighters and captains. We volunteer hundreds of hours annually to master the art of vehicle rescue.

We represent the City of Markham and Canada on the world stage, competing in NAVRA and TERC challenges across North America. Our ultimate goal? Earning a spot at the World Rescue Challenge, where the elite rescue teams from around the globe push the boundaries of technical extrication.
